Jay-Z to Join Forces With Live NationJay-Z is reportedly about to sign a $150 million deal with concert promoters Live Nation. The deal not only includes concerts, endorsements and recordings over the next decade, but will also help the rapper to launch Roc Nation, Jay's own record label, talent management, and music publishing company. "I've turned into the Rolling Stones of hip-hop," Jay-Z told The New York Times. Jay-Z, who previously served as Def Jam's CEO for three years, still owes his former label one more album, which is expected to be released later this year. He is the third mega-star to recently join forces with the Live Nation is currently producing a tour with Jay-Z and Mary J. Blige.
